Muay Thai is one of the toughest martial arts in the world. But after the death of a child boxer, Thailand debates the future of its national sport. Is Muay Thai an ancient art form or child abuse? Dean travelled to Thailand and spent time with two promising young boxers, as well as those who are trying to increase child protection regulation to the 1000 year-old sport.

Crunching through a snowy spring in six different Swedish towns, this film contains stunning imagery shot by Dean. Working with investigative reporter Calliste Weitenberg, a little-told story of Scandinavian suspicion emerges.

New York state became ground zero for the anti-vax movement, and a huge measles outbreak in 2019. In this film, Dean and the Dateline team go inside the close-knit Orthodox Jewish community being torn apart by vaccine scepticism, with surprising results.

With a US-based faith-healer being implicated in the suicide of one of his New Zealand clients, TVNZ investigative reporter Janet McIntyre packed her bags and confronted him with his allegations. Dean worked with the TVNZ team, traveling to Sedona, AZ - DPing a two-camera shoot, drone shoot, and sidelined in 'security' when things got a little heated.
